Micro servos for the wings
... total independence in the 18m class
This is what Alexander Schleicher promises with his new motor glider in the open class.
Due to the selected airfoil and the applied Carbon Champ construction, the ASH 31 MI can be flown with piece in mind in a pleasantly wide speed range. The high-quality moulded winglets underline the scale look. The model is designed for sporty, ambitious pilots. In this model, the technical characteristics of a multi task glider are combined with the elegant flight image of the scale model.
When using the Graupner / SJ Up and Go retractable engine (6097), the glider will become the scale counterpart of the full size self-launch capabilities. The retractable engine can be retracted and extended during the flight, thus realizing several climbs.
