The Jonker JS-2 is a 18/21 metre class glider originally designed and manufactured by Jonker sailplanes in South Africa.
First flight was made in 2021, so this glider is one of the most modern on the market and proven to be one of the best in it's category..
This is the 1:3.5 scale JS-2 model of this popular sailplane. It has been
designed as a great scale ship yet small enough to be very transportable and great on any slope or on a flat field.
Designed with no compromise in aerodynamics, modern airfoil calculation allows to combine excellent thermal capabilities with fast slope flying.
The compact design with 8 flaps configuration permits precise flying in any condition making it an every day glider.
Built with the latest technology and knowledge for
best aerodynamic performance, JS-2 is made 100% from composite molded technology.
Kit features a white high gloss and high strength, carbon reinforced fuselage, with stab and rudder fully molded.
Canopy fitted and painted, seat and instrument panel compete cockpit outfit.
Retractable landing gear installed, giving tall extension for FES setup.
Wings are full 160g Carbon/ Herex built, ready for servo and linkage installation.
Wings are 4 pieces, for ease of transportation.
